“Wind, Water and Wilderness” by Michael Dobson Opening Reception Jan 24 1-3 pm- Meet the Artist!

This body of work celebrates places in Northern Ontario where the artist has lived and painted. They range from Muskoka to Georgian Bay and Temiskaming Shores, and further north from Thunder Bay to Webequie. The artist chose to revisit and paint these places because they are unforgettable. Their windswept pines, basalt rock cliffs, black spruce forests, granite outcrops, and mineral-laced rivers draw him back again and again. He feels fortunate to live and work within such a stunning, vast and varied landscape.
