“North Bay at 100” began with a call-out to the North Bay community in mid 2024. We used social media, word of mouth, and local media to encourage the community to “send us your stories” to help us celebrate North Bay’s Centennial.
The result is a wide variety of displays that reflect the events, industries, institutions, people, and places that impacted the lives of ordinary North Bay residents. Rather than choosing only a few topics to focus on, we created a diverse display that reflects many of the facets of North Bay’s history, as represented in historical objects and photographs.
